We are a dedicated group of individuals who share a passion for helping dogs in need. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs, and to find them loving forever homes. With our collective expertise in dog rescue, adoption, and rehabilitation,
we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of these furry friends.
Our Story
Our founders saw a need in Guadalupe County, Texas for a dog rescue that serves the county area. Dogs that end up at the Guadalupe County Animal Center are not widely networked to the general public and are not vetted in-house. Friends of Dogs was created out of the need to help these dogs. From 2 people working to meet the needs of many dogs that come into GCAC to the team we have today, the mission of our organization stands true: Making Dogs Family.
